Maison Baxo has just launched a new brand: La Sente. Small leather goods now offers two brands, for two different styles, Cordiz and La Sente. Contrary to Cordiz, which offers original but classic lines, La Sente is younger, more trendy, and lighter. 

So where does La Sente come from...

La Sente comes from the Latin "semita" which means a path alongside a road. In French, La Sente has come to mean a small path or trail. La Sente is a footpath. It is the more poetic, literary, and feminine form of "sentier" [path].

La Sente evokes the peaceful countryside, a return to freedom, a natural, perfumed place that leads to a daydream

For Baxo, La Sente represents the second path taken by small leather goods; trendy and dynamic. La Sente unveils its nature to you in lines showing a genuine creative freedom. This brand opens new horizons with resolutely different shapes, colors, and materials.

La Sente transports you into the natural, feminine world.

You will recognize La Sente by this logo, present on the brand's collections.

With its rounded shapes, the logo expresses the quest for volumes in its collections, the suppleness of materials and La Sente's charm.

The S of course recalls the brand's name. La Sente returns to its origins demonstrating the new path taken by small leather goods.

Finally, a horizontal line expresses this brand's rupture with Cordiz. La Sente is the experience and technical know-how of small leather goods serving difference and character.

Like Cordiz, La Sente will develop several lines, each with a particular identity.  The first La Sente line is Gather.
